Reunion Meeting

All of the photo's below attest that we had a meeting to schedule a reunion. We met at Rhonda (McElroy) Clouser's place on Sunday the 22nd. God help you if you weren't there or if you recently committed a crime because we got the dirt on all of ya! :) We are currently tracking down classmates and verifying addresses, as well as looking for a site for the reunion. If you are a member of the Class of 75 or happen to be reading this and know a member, get in touch with us.

You can email me at mrfitzmonster@yahoo.com or Kathy (Sheaffer) Heller at kathyheller17074@yahoo.com.

Hey There, Class of 75!

I finally got around to checking out your website. I had forgotten about it and was surprised to see my picture. I never was very photogenic! When I was home in August of 2004, it was for my Mother's funeral. I currently live in what they refer to as " The Thumb" of Michigan. Bill and I have lived here for two years. We have moved several times since 1997, when we left Hanover, Pa. We owned and operated a small resort in the Ozarks in Bull Shoals, Arkansas for 4 years. It was on Bull Shoals Lake, which was formed in the 50's by daming up the world famous White River, well known for it's trout fishing. It was a beautiful area, and we did enjoy most of our guests, but the pressure of having guests underfoot 24 / 7 began to wear us out! My husband, Bill, decided to go back to the foundry industry where he works as a product engineer. He took a job in Mansfield, Ohio. We even bought a small house there while I was back at the resort trying to sell it. Just about the time we sold the resort, Bill was told that they were closing down the plant. He had only worked there a few months and I never even got to live in the house there. We actually still own that house and are currently renting it out. He then took a job in Auburn, Indiana and we lived there for two years. As you probably know, the foundry industry isn't doing well, and Auburn wasn't much better, so it was just a matter of time until we were on the move again in search of a better future. While in Auburn, I worked as the supervisor in the gift shop at the Auburn, Cord, Duesenberg Museum. If you ever get to Auburn, I highly suggest seeing the Museum. Their collection of some of the most expensive cars ever made in the U.S. and the beautiful Art Deco of the original offices and showroom are worth the visit. The last move brought us to Mayville, Mi.. We enjoy Michigan, as we both enjoy fishing and there are plenty of places closeby to catch just about any species of fish. It's a little colder in the winter than we would like, but you can't have everything.Bill is currently employed by Grede in Vassar, Mi. I currently work part time at a local hardware store. Some of you may remember that a long time ago, I worked at Shiffer Bros. When I was home in Aug., I also got to say goodbye to Shiffer Bros, as it was just before they closed the doors for good. We made another unexpected trip back home in March, 2005, as my oldest brother, Kenny Clegg had passed away. I hope our next trip home is for happier reasons. Take care and keep in touch!

Sincerely,
Jeanette (Clegg) Melhuish
